Ey I was wondering how to easily take off the SLE badges off my truck and the Z71 badges off a Tahoe. I am thinking of replacing them if I dont find a good place for the Z71 badges. Also what kind of glue do I need to put them back so they wont fall off.

You can just peal them off with your fingers, a little heat from a blow-dryer will help if it's cold out.
I don't know if you can put them back up on after you rip them of,, you'll probably just want to order new ones that have the adhesive already on them.

btw,, you truck look great!! Same color as my dad's old sierra..

 

i never did the SLE ones but that Z71 sticker (if thats what your talking about) would be so easy... i would imagine the SLE is just like any other badge, just as Fake said blow dryer adn peal the bitches off, i always went over it wit wax a couple times to just to make sure i got rid of all the glue

 

yeah, Maguire's ScratchX works really really good for that.
You'll want to hit it with that either way because the paint under the decals will look perfect (no swirl marks) so you'll need to polish the paint around it really good or you'll be able to see where the decals were.

 

Thanks fellas, ONE MO THANG, here is the "other' I was talking about. I have the stock 99 fold down center console, it has the fold up flap on the top. DOES anyone know where I can get the newer console,,THIS ONE(sorry for the small pic)

IS IT EASY to remove the center console? I tried quickly on a Dodge thinking it was just 2 screws and off it goes but that was not the case.

 

Try EBay for the center console. When I debadged my truck I just left it out in the Texas summer heat for 6 hrs and they just peeled right off.
