Default dead battery

Well, the acdelco battery finally gave out, its a little over 5 years old. Not bad I quess. I noticed the last few nights that it has been slow cranking and yesterday morning it gave out. Only had 11 volts left in it. My 85 silverado had to give up its battery until I have time to go get another one. I may go with an optima, whats everyone else using with good results.

I recently picked up the Red Top 75/25 for $140 shipped from 1st-optima-batteries. Every local auto parts store was pricing them at $160 +tax and core exchange.

I don't like optimas. A friend of mine has gone through 3 in like 2 years.

Interstate batteries are what I buy.
I work at a parts store so I see alot of bad batteries and know what works and what doesn't
