Default Dash SQUEEEEEEEEEEEAK!

2005 model and 13k miles and it has developed a nasty dash squeak all of the sudden. It is somewhere behind the guage cluster. I have pulled the guage cluster out and it is still there. It is so loud that I almost can't dround it out with the radio Anyone have this problem which can point me in the right direction? Taking it in for warranty isn't an option. I don't want them touching my truck. Also they may not like the stray wires in there from the extra guages.

When the squeaking occurs. Push really hard on the plate right in front of your knees. Its the big one that covers the BCM and **** right under the dash. Thats where I found my squeaker!!

I've been driving with it tore apart but not found it yet. Don't think I've pressed on the lower plate yet. it gets quieter during light acceleration, like in 6th gear. At low load cruise it is attrocious! it also gets quieter when i mash the brakes. I need a monkey to crawl up in there and find it .

It will have to come apart pretty far to get to the area. Main support brackets will have to come out. I was just cruising on flat highway and it started all at once. No slow build up, its just like someone from the factory was f-ing with me with a squeeking maching to start exactly 1.5 years after build date. I'm probably going to get in there and find a little motor that is powered off the switch and it is rubbing 2 pieces of glass together
