Damage doesn't look too bad, but I think you got a really good estimate on that stuff. I would have thought i'd be quite a bit more.

Try to keep all 4 tires on the ground.

Ok, maybe maybe just the rears.

Slow, that's a hell of a deal for the bodywork. Just for fun i ran an estimate here at work, and if you more than double the amount we would do the work. our rates are $50.00 per hour for labor, then add parts and such and up it goes. Missed the first post but glad to hear you are ok. You definetly took the right route instead of hitting the other vehicle.

I've thought about either going with the color of the ss wheels or going with a darker gunmetal gray. It's really up in the air on which color I'm going to go with.

I wish I would have taken a pic with the slicks on front going to the tire shop. I got so many crazy looks! One guy rolled his window down and asked me why I had them on the front. I just told him this was one of those "SS" trucks that had AWD and I needed the extra traction.

It should be good as new by the middle/end of next week, so I'll be ready for Showfest no doubt.

jksz71- I really appreciate you running the estimate for me. I had no idea how much all of it was worth, but from the looks of things...I'm getting a pretty good deal. It's a very reputable body shop as well.

Oh, it's going on!!! I agree on the slow drivers part, but I also need to slow my *** down on the highway.

Update- I just ordered my tahoe grille and went a little different on the grille insert. I ordered a chrome tribal insert, since I don't see them a whole lot and the speed grilles are pretty popular. The speed grille was the first mod I ever did to my truck, and I'll be sad to let it go, but I'm going to try out this tribal grille and see how it looks on the all chrome grille. I'll get some end result pics when the truck comes out of the body shop next week. I hope it comes out great!
