Default Crap....

So what do you guys know about changing the brake pads? mine have jsut about had it. its doing that high pitched whine thing and i want to change the pads, and get the rotors turned. Do you all know how hard it is to get the rotor off and the caliper? What do i need tool wise and how do i bleed the brakes or do i have to?

You dont ahve to bleed the brakes. get an allen head socket cant remember the size off hand but thats what you use to remove the two bolts that hold the cliper on. next take the pads off then put a screwdriver in there and depress the piston back till it is flush with the caliper tehn slide the new ones in that simple make sure you push the piston in slowly

Mine used two Torx bolts. Size 50 I think. To compress the caliper I use a "C" clamp and the old pad. Just turn the clamp until the caliper is completely collapsed. It's an easy task, just time consuming.
