Default cracked a hemi

on the way home from work there was a blue dodge hemi reg cab short box with exhaust(probably just a flowmaster)...he got next to me when i left from a light kinda quick and threw a rev at me. i was runnin about 40-45 when he threw it and as soon as he started goosin it i pulled it into 1st and we pulled even for about a second then pulled a length or so....when i shut off at 80 i was out about 2-3 lengths. it left hard but in the upper range it died. the guy driving it probably doesn't drive his like i drive mine and isn't as familiar with driving the hell out of it but it was still fun. GEN3 power

I havent really seen any HEME's in my town yet. There is one but its an old guy that drives it so I think it will be hard geting him to line up.

I need a highschool kid to get one. They will race anything (stock Hondas) and dont know any beter. If its any thing like the old 5.9L I'll blow it away back up blow it away agian.

My brother-in-law has one in his extended cab with the bling bling 20's. It feels alright but, the transmission feels, well....

I don't think it would give a GM truck a hard time though. I don't think...

Friend at work bought a new dodge hemi. reg cab with 4 wheel drive. truck feels decent off the line but once it hits second gear there is like a huge lapse in power. i guess you would call it a flat spot. then again, everyone knows how crappy dodge trannies are. that could be the culprit. oh yea, he had a flowmaster put on and did a home made intake kit. only thing he got in return was some sound. i don't think the intake helped a bit.

I've handled the Hemi's I've run so far also and I don't know how they're claiming 345hp but they are a lot faster than the 5.9's and with tuning help (hyper-tech or diablo)they should be more of a challange.I'm gonna decal my tailgate with"That's a Hemi?? Ha Ha Ha" Jim
