is there any reason why i can't put this corvette oil pan that came with my ls1, into my truck. if so what is the reason. i thought it would be good for clearance issues for off road use.

 

The frame is completly diifferent I'm sure. I havent tried this swap, but I put an 81 r22 out of a celica into an 87 pickup which also had an r22, and there was not enough clearance with the steering and crossmembers to get the motor in, so we had to swap oil pans. I dont think it can be done.
