Sorry, I am only familiar with EFI Live and a little bit with HPTuners.

In EFI Live you can tell it which platforum you have as well as select which type of throttle body under the options.

I didn't see the ability to do that in HPT.

I could be wrong as I am not as familiar with it.

I have never tried to change it either.

I know if you use a Van Operating system and you have the correct computer it should function.

The Vans had DBC from the factory all the way up to 07 from what I read.

Ok I have done this, had to learn myself and lt1swap.com was very helpful as well. As long as your pcm has the IAC driver chip it is a simple switch in system options to turn it on then you add the 7 wires 3 for tps and 4 for iac and good to go. whatever platform your pcm was out of then ETC should be set to 1 if it is DBW then you change it to 0 and tps and iac will work. All my trucks are swaps and all DBC

I have to locate a pcm. Pretty sure mine doesn't support it. It I have access to some 04 express van ones so one should work. I need to check the service number on mine. I've been reading on lt1swap.

what tables in the idle tab need to be changed. I have a tune file from a DBC 5.3. Do I need to copy that data? If so how much of it?

The IAC reset position is 0
and the park position airflow table is 0
does this need to be changed?
