from memory, talking with Vince from FLT, manually upshifting the tranny has the added benefit of engaging a band, making the shift more positive

great looking setup brother!

How big of a soda can you still fit in the cup holder before it hits the handle ?

nice!! that lined up good in there.
maybe you can make some kind of sock to go over the arm of the shifter and cover up the hole.

Yep.. agreed..
that is what I was told by Century Racing Transmission shop..

If you dont have the manual valve body, it doesnt help to maunually shift..
also the PCM takes to long to down shift when you stomp on it..

I have noticed people stomp on it, you here the engine rev up, and then it shifts..

just an observation

It looks like once you get the boot in there it should almost look like it was made for it.

I noticed i can actually fit 32oz cups no problem on the one closer to the dash. I can 24oz sodas no problem on the other one. So it really doesnt affect much.
