It does add a decent look, but doesn't really offer much advantage...??? Other than doing a burnout or something you should never have to manually shift the trans.

Mainly for looks, but, i do down shift for "frum roll" racing lol. Yes the reverse and the gear indicator works fine. Best thing about the shifter is that its adjustable from 3-speed to 4-speed transmission. Im gonna swap to a TH350 pretty soon also

You have never down shifted? It is alot harder on the trans if you force it to downshift if you shift it it is much easier. I know many guys who upshift manually b/c they have a n20 tune in the truck and when not spraying they need to shift at a higher or lower RPM. That is the same shifter I have and it really makes it fun banging through the gears. Plus its damn near impossible to mis a shift!

Ratchet shifters are sweet. I have one in my old truck. That installation looks very nice. I will be interested to see the final pictures.

one your talking to zippy.....
second there is no reason to manually shift a 60e. the computer does all the work for you. unless your on a stock tune

as for N20 tune thats easy have it set for the spray, when NA have it set for NA..if its a combo then set it at oen pont

older trans that would benefit with a 60e there is no reason at all
