But between those too same trucks, I would have to say they are pretty damn equal.

I like the silverado much better (of course), but I think the dodge doesn't look bad. I think that it would look better with a little less wheel gap, and w/o the step bar. Maybe some different tires too.

I just went back and looked at them again. I really like the gm front alot better than the dodge, I always have they look sleaker and more refined the chrome helps. If you had different wheels/tires on the gm that would help it out alot.

I saw a silver single cab short bed dodge the other day with a black bed cover on it and what looked like about a 4" drop, the windows where blacked out and it was very clean also had the same factory wheels no badging. I had to do a double take and cruise back through for another look. It was one if not the best looking truck I have ever seen. It made me think about trading the thing was beautiful. Then I thought about 11 mpg and no chance of modding. That made me snap out of it.

i avg 15mpg with mixed driving ...... there are mods that you can do that work..... theres not as much out for the dodge as there is for gm but $1500 can get a 5000 pound brick down the 1/4 mile in the low 12s easy and still run a stock motor trans and rear.........

I dont think the new Rams look bad at all and they are a whole lot betetr than the old ones-yuk but I personally think the 03'+ silverados look betters. The one thing I cant stand about the Rams are those butt-ugly 20's. On another note I saw a 03' EC Silverado with the Ram 20's on it. The exact ones! I was sick at my stomache!

I like them both. I love the extra room in the Dodge Crew Cab (my friend has one with a 4.7 and it has a bunch more room than my EX Cab. I don't like the nerf bars on either one of them tho. Why don't you save us some guessing and tell us which one you like better?? My only problem with the Dodge is the reliablility issues. Dodge has much lower re-sale value and there is a reason for it. I don't think people just enjoy paying more for Chevrolets do you? I just came back from Kentucky in my 2000 Extended cab with 75k miles on it and I ran 80-85 miles an hour for 8 straight hours. It purred like a kitten and averaged 18.5 miles to the gallon. I like the Chevrolets, although that Dodge is a sharp(er) looking truck in my opinion. Its just not all about the looks for me! How do you feel?

OK, I like the Dodge better. To me, the Silverado is sleeker looking but the Dodge is more rugged looking and looks more, truck like. I'm with some of you, after looking at the pics, I decided I didn't like the nerf bars either and took them off. He's the latest pic with the nerf bars off and the rear lowered so the truck sits level.
