Default Combination Valve Orientation

Starting to build a flipped manifolds turbo kit and the drivers side flange hits the combination valve on my 03 Silverado. There are sections of braided line coming off each port and the valve itself hangs on a thin metal bracket. Can I just carefully bend this down and to the right without messing up the valves operation? I assume this shouldnt be a problem but want to make sure.

Spent the last hour searching and all the flipped manifolds pictures I can find don't have the combination valve in that location.

the problem you will run into is that there are hard lines on the other side and they look fairly rusted. Bending it out of the way, while possible, may cause one of them to break, no matter how careful you are. Give it a shot, just be prepared to replace a line of two if they crack in the move (or from vibration later on). Otherwise, bending the bracket is fine.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I was able to bend it out of the way each one has a section of braided in it so it doesnt look like it put any tension on the rusted lines but now that you mention it i'm gonna keep an eye on them.

Thanks again

werd. you'll know when there is an issue, either your foot sinks to the floor when you hit the brakes, or the truck will pull toward the caliper that is still working.
