But that's only what I've heard, I really don't know for sure myself. Have you upgraded yours?

I didnt mean to do the rotors only. I was just pointing out the deal they have.

I got rotors , pads, SS lines and ATE Superblue fluid, which is goin along with the Motul power bleeder I just got. Im just waiting for the SS lines to install it all at once.

Oh, alright. I'm wondering, are most rotors the same...are the Wholesale direct rotors just as good as let's say Baers, Powerslots, etc.?

I can't find anyone who supplies SS lines for my truck. No one's selling them yet, so that's what's holding me back on doing my brakes...

I would say Bears would be better especially since most of they kits have caliper upgrades. But as far as Powerslots vs wholesale direct Ive heard no complaints and they both look really nice. The wholesale direct price is a little easier to swallow

Im waiting to get my lines from thunder racing... its on backorder

I had the rotors and pads on mine, didn't help me for **** considereing I still boiled the bejeezus out of my fluid. My SS lines are on order too, I was going to just put in dot3, but after this weekend, I may have to rethink that.

"ATE Super Blue Racing brake fluid has a dry boiling point of over 530 degrees F, far exceeding DOT 4 standards. Mixes with any other DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid. Super Blue absorbs moisture very slowly, so you don't have to change it as often as many high-performance fluids. Great for your street car that sees weekend track duty."

I hear you - with a mountain of rock on one side of me, a cliff on the other, and no brakes, I got to rethinking a few things myself....

That was a good time...putting some faces to names and getting to know some of you a little bit more. Kurtis, great job on the truck, you've done some killer work on the suspension. And thanks Ed for showing me what a Vig 3200 feels like. Your truck just rocks....amazing...doesn't even feel like a 4.8L under there.

I cracked up when that guy in the VW drove up. What was up with him? Someone said this happens all the time in L.A., is that right? How bizarre. I think he was itching to race or something. Weird!

Hey no problem. Like I said, I wish I could've driven another truck with a stall in it so I could at least have some idea of what I want.
That guy int he VW was a moron. There are a lot of people like that all over, more so in Calabasas. I don't know why he was trying to rain on our parade. Yea, his car can go 160 and get 30MPG, but would you want to be in that little sardine can if you got in an accident?
Anyway, good times

That dude was such a tool. I'll bet his race weight was 3000 lbs without driver and 3500 with him in it. Fat f-ing bastard.

Anyways, I had a good time. Thank for the pics as well.

Next time.
