Not sure. I just went in and mentioned that it had the clunk and he said ok and ordered one...took about two weeks to come in.

they should know about it. if they don't they are idiots.

I just replaced mine this morning (3rd one). It is such a pleasure to drive the truck again.

Yep. They replaced at around 30K, under warranty, and it needed it again now at 73K

ok i'm pissed my wife took my truck in today to get this fixed becouse i'm on deployment, they told her there was no recall and the problem was caused becouse of my oversized tires. there only 32.8" tall. so they just greesed it and said that if i came back with the tires it would void my warranty. so can someone get me the recall # its a 04 ext 4.8

It's not a recall. It's just a Technical Service Bulletin

is it for 04's or not it says up to 2003 for everything unless i missed something.

It must be because mine's a 04 and they replaced it with no questions asked. The truck had about 10k when it started clunking.
