I meet this guy at my college and he was all talkin about his lighting that it was pushing 16 psi and he had the dialbo chip in it ect ect anyway I told him we would have to line them up one day. The mods to my truck are 5.7LS1 with whipple pushing 8psi. I started to leave college and noticed he pulled out in front of me. when we got on the interstate I got beside of him and waited for him to make a move sure enough he took of then I did within 20 to 30 yards I had pulled past him. I decided to do it again so I pulled up beside him but he got the jump this time and about the time I pulled up beside him we started to get into traffic so slowed back down. All in all I know I could of bet him but that last race was pretty close. I talked to him and as soon as commerse opens were going to line them up at the strip but anyway I will make sure to get some video when that time comes.

Damn 16psi , one day he'll be picking that motor up in pieces on the road. You would think a 16 psi lightning could take a LS1 with 8psi Whipple? I think he might have been talking his truck up some. BTW NICE KILL

 

Yeah you would think his motor would not take that much boost but that is what he said. The race at commerce is at the atlanta dragway and Im hoping it will be Feb 28.
