Default Climate Control Unit...

There's a weird scratching/hissing noise occasionally coming from near the passenger side foot well of my silvy. I haven't noticed it when the fan is in the off position, and it seems to happen with increase in throttle, although it doesn't happen every time. I'm wondering if it's a vaccuum line or something for the climate control unit? What should I look for, and where should I look?

How many miles do you have on your truck??? sounds like you have a bad compressor, maybe also a tensionor for the a/c compressor

137k. I'm not too sure it's really something as big as the compressor.

The tensioner will go out. I had to replace mine at about 80k
