Default Climate Control panel

i went and started my 06 sierra today and the air was on level 5, within 10 seconds the air totally quit blowing. when i try to switch to level 1,2,3,4 or 5 none of them work. when i try to switch the control from face to feet to defront none of those controls work either. any help or ideas what i need to fix this would be great. thanks

of course none of the controls wont work bc its not blowing out and air but could it be the /A/C Heater Blower Motor Resistor

I would unplug the blower resistor and look for burnt wires. It was pretty common in the 05-07 classic range.

i replaced the resistor and it fixed the problem... the actual harness that connects to the resistor needs replaces also since they tend to get burn up. this one only had on burnt prone and its sunday so i used it... will need to replace if it does it again... buuuuuuut i now have ac.... need it when its 110 out!!

110 in IN? Glad you fixed your problem and let us know what's up! Here in TX it is constant 102*-105*, incase this comes up again.

You better change the pigtail or it will smoke the new resistor in short order. and you will be hot with no a/c again.
