Well.. with the 4.8L go ahead and get a rear-end (posi) 4.10 gears, a Thunder Racing "tr224" cam... You can find a lot of stuff from Thunderracing.com, summitracing.com is another alright parts supplier... look at the fastest truck list.. ive been lurking for months and pretty much have put my truck togetther w/ everything in my sig and taught myself about it in the process.

What does a stock Lightning run? Does anyone know? I heard 12s.

Well i found out how to do it tonight. I pull up next to a L at the light. When the light turned green We both floored it. We stayed side by side till about 50 then i started pulling on him. At 80 i had him by a truck length. Not bad for a big heavy truck. To sum it up 6.0. 8psi STS Turbo. My first L kill.

13.8-14.00@99-100mph in the 1/4 mile STOCK..

I hadn't made it back to the track sense i added all the extras, So that should put me close to the 13's. Hope the rain hold off for tomorrow night so i can find out what it runs.

02 PCM, IC, 44lb injectors,walbro 255lph Fuel pump, and boost controller, It is a 6000# truck.

a buddy of mine ran a 13.56 at 101 in his completely stock lightning on sunday. i would want lower 13's just to be sure.
