Chevy 2004 Silverado Z71--Signal light issues
#1
My 2004 Silverado is beginning to give me signal light issues. I need help ASAP!
Problems:
(1) Left turn signal with brake applied- left turn indicator on gauge cluster freezes (on) and left turn indicator on left mirror mirror freezes (on). Rear facing lights start flashing like hazards have been turned on. This also happens with the right turn signal.
(2) Left turn signal with brake applied- the switch makes the audible "clicking" like it should normally function, but no signal lights come on. Right now, this only happens with left turn not the right.
(3) Switching from right signal to left signal no brake applied- either problem 1 or 2 occurs.
(4) The front signal lights do not work if problem 1 or 2 occurs.
I have checked all lights to make sure there are no burned out bulbs, all are still good. The brake lights function as they should. The front lights function as they should. The hazard lights function as they should.
Potential fixes I have found
(1) Body Control Module (BCM) needs to be replaced
(2) Combination/Multi Funtion Switch-turn switch/cruise control crap needs to be replaced
(3) Hazard/Flasher fuse- not sure on the exact name, but I think its located under the steering column cover, needs to be replaced.
Hopefully someone has encountered this problem before and can point me in the right direction. I recently replaced my 4wd switch because I kept getting a "service 4wd" on my odometer display. I hasn't came back on since I replaced the switch.

Under potential fixes. I think #3 is called the directional relay. Its below the steering column behind the lower plastic molding on the left side. Hopefully someone has had this problem before.

Update:
I started with the cheapest fix, which was fix #3. Autozone has it listed under "lighting control module" $43.99. Oreillys couldn't find it, but said they knew what it was and could order it for $56.00. So I purchased the one at autozone, and it is fixed. I've driven it around using the blinkers as much as possible, and at this time all seems well. Hopefully this will help someone down the road.
