Default checkin frame for straightness?

so Im pickin up a salvage frame... they are currently takin it out of the truck, truck was rolled over and Its such a good price I couldnt pass it up. But we made the deal if it's bent I don't have to buy it. Besides the obvious what could I do to check for straightness when Im at the yard. I already planned on measuring diagonally, I think tolerance is around 1/4" from what I remember. Anything else?

IMO you need to go down to an alignement shop and get the specs. There are certain points you need to measure. For example this what i used on sisters mustang when we were having problems getting it aligned, I have a similar one for mine...

have a decent guy stand on one side. a hot chick on the other side. If the frame leans toward the girl, its strait.

Out of curiosity, why you need a new frame?
