Hmm, can you guess what 2 things are currently wrong with the truck. The seat controls screws wont stay in, and the switches work completely reversed of what they are supposed to work. The steering shaft makes all sorts of noise going down the road.

It sounds to me like someone put the switches in backward or opposite, hence the screws won't stay tight. Try popping the recliner/adjuster cover off and inspect the wiring harness connection to the switch, and just remove the control and put it in opposite than it is now. And, yeah you probably have a defective intermediate steering shaft. It may not have been replaced with the newest design.
