Check this out
This is the order of fastest truck according to Lighning fans.
1) Lightning
2) Harley F150
3) Silverado SS
4) Dakota R/T regular cab
5) Silverado RC stepside 5.5, 3.73 gears
6) Dakota RC 4.7 5 speed, 3.90 gears
7) Dakota R/T club cab
8) HEMI RAM
However, the dodge guys disagree. This what they think it should look like
1) Lightning

4) Dakota RC 4.7 5 speed, 3.92 gears Posi
5) Hemi Ram RC 3.92 Posi 17" wheels/tires
6) Dakota R/T Club Cab - TIE
6) Silverado SS - TIE
7) Silverado RC stepside 5.3, 3.73 gears (Chevy doesn't make a 5.5 BTW! )

Ummmm.....I think the GM RC's should be a little higher on that Dodge list. 
I think the Lightning guys are closer but, I'm not sure the Silvy SS should be #3
The 4.7L Daks are quick but, I don't know if they're up to a 5.3L or not????

Dodge SUX. Free 1990 Dodges are OK, but you just don't want to be seen in them. But when your hanging out at the local drug store waiting on a perscription, all the old timers refilling the o2 bottles will give you compliments on them.

Take out the Harley F150, and you got the R/T right next to the lightning.....
please.....

Dude, I spanked every Dodge that I have raced except one with a 150 shot of nitrous, and then he only beat me by 2 car lengths in the quarter!
I think a lot of those guys lie for some reason, to make up for their trucks. It is ok if your truck is slow, it don't make them bad people, but their aint any need for lying. I talk to three guys at the speedway who had Dodges, and all three of them lied to me. One guy had a extra cab R/T 5.9, and he said that he ran 14.5 off of the juice, and low 13s on the juice. I ran right behind him twice and his average is 16.0 flat. You really got to screw up to make your truck run that much slower. That aint no bad launch! He later said that he ran out of nitrous, and something was wrong with his pump. Bullshit, if you got problems you don't do 3 more runs in the night!
Then both the other guys told me mid 14s. I raced one of them, and beat him by .2 seconds. He had a Ram 1500, and my fastest here in Vegas is a 15.6 for me!
