Default cheap theft deturent system.

though i would post this again for thouse that want to protect what they have.

you can place the switch any where you want it, but with the cig lighter cover down and the drink tray up, it is an easy place to hide it where no one thinks about looking, unless they want to lite a cig while they steal your truck.

fuel system power off switch.
1. find the hot wire to the fuel pump in the tank.
2. cut wire, NOT THE GROUND, the hot wire only.
3. disconect power to extra cig lighter
4. remove extra cig lighter.
5. install push button power switch in where the extra cig lighter went.
6. add same color wire to hot wire for fuel pump, run wire back to fire wall, find a way too run wire in through fire wall to in side for new power switch.
7. run wire from power switch back through fire wall too the fuel pump wire.
8. test to make sure you did it right, turn off switch, turn on key, listen for fuel pump to prim pressure, if no sound when key is on half way done, with key still on turn on new switch, listen for fuel pump to prim, if pump comes on system done right.
9. flip down cover to hide switch.
10. if you say nothing, no one will know it is their
11. easy to put back to normal for trade in.

this little 25.00 job will take 35.00 a month off of your full covarge insurance bill, it is called a theft deturent system.
NO FUEL, NO RUN, NO STEAL.
