Default charging woes

I have searched and came up with nothing. My 03 is acting really stupid. During idle, eventually the voltage drops into the red zone under 10 volts and the dash lights flicker. Bring up the rpm's and it goes back to 14 volts. Occasionally while driving at 30-40 mph it drops and the dash lights come on for brakes and the chimes ding several times. I have changed the alternator from 105 amp to 145 amp, then the 200 amp (200 has an overdrive pulley) Battery has never died, always starts in the morning. Anybody have a clue on this one? I have been trying for 4 months now and have come up with nothing.
