Can i loose a wheel?

Can i loose a wheel?
GM never replace the front stabilizer shaft link kit and the right control arm
I had them check because of a weird noise...The man told me it was common to the Equinox..so now the truck's driving is awful and dangerous!
Could it be that all of this cause problem to the ABS,the braking system and the death of my shocks???
Can I really lose a whell while driving?Or can the truck flip on the side?
