Well the other day coming home from class my friend in his 91 camaro (302 V8, with shorty headers, 3.73's, intake , TBS, posi) came flying up next to me on the hwy at about 70mph. Well he inched next to me and looked at me like he wanted to race. So I honked 3 times and floored it and by the time I hit 90-95mph he was about 3 cars behind me. When we got back to my house and all he said was my truck sounded sweet. I'm thinking to myself, "Was he really racing me and not wanting to admit his defeat by a truck or was he not racing me?" He races every now and then, but when I ask if he wants to race my truck he blows me off. DO YOU GUYS THINK I CAN BEAT THAT CAMARO ON THE STREET AND OR THE HWY? thanks

 

uuuuhhhhh yeah he only has like 170 hp i believe that car stock with the 302 only runs 18's in the 1/4 with his little stuff he has maybe a high 16 lol later,kevin

It must have been cold out. Just normal shrinkage.

 

I'll try to get him to race me.

 

Watch out for those with the Tuned.Port.Injection, they have a strong low grunt. If its a 305 you can more than likely take him, will see. Keep us posted

Agreed, if it wasn't an IROC 350 or a TransAm GTA or TTA then you can take any of em if they are stock. A buddy dyno'd his 89' GTA bone stock and put down 232rwhp and ran 14.3@95mph. Not too shabby IMO.
