Still not sure if you've ever tuned for that cam.
Again, could be running out of injector...running lean...pulling timing...
I'd log it or bring it to someone who can check your duty cycle.
There was a set of 42#rs in the classified the other day.

You will only need a set of 8.1L injectors(aka 31#ers) they will handle that motor just fine or get 42s and runa dry shot of nitrous

 

Are you running the truck intake or the LS1?

 

i doubt he's outa injector but every truck is different. if it hasnt been tuned for the cam thats probably it.

 

Kevin maxxed out his injectors on his 5.3 with the 226 cam...

 

i dont think it would be running out of injector if it was tuned for the right injectors!!! right now its tuned for 28.8#ers and i have some 26#ers in it, so i bet thats my whole problem!!!!!!! Yes i am running the ls1 intake. Monday or Tuesday i will be changing the cam out for a 228R-112 from TSP and i am currently looking for some more injectors, because i know that will max them out!
