cam isnt big enough

What size injectors are you running with that cam? You could be running out of fuel.
Did you tune A/F, shift points, rev limiter, lock up?
That cam should be pulling plenty hard from @3000 on up.

i don't think a bigger cam will help you any.

thats a badass cam u got there..i would love to try it on my 5.3..i dont see why its not working badass on your 5.7..wut exhaust set up are u running? u should have Nelson check ur tune again, there's probably some tweaks that need some fixing.

stupid question, could my converter be too tight causing this, because it seems like when i put it in third gear its better and as far as injectors i was told 28# but ill check part #'s, that should be big enough huh???

I would bet your injectors are pretty damn close to being static.

1slow01Z71 - i just went and checked and only to find out that i have been told wrong i have the 12555894# 26#ers so they probably are about static.
but how would that only affect it in third gear, not any other gear

im on the stock 5.3 injectors with the full bolt on ls1 and bigger cam. i think im somewhere around 97-100% dutycycle.

Higher load on the engine due to a lower mechanical advantage in third and also third is stretched out alot longer so it will spend more time up in the higher revs.
