Default Cab leaking and door locks

I have a 2005 GMC 1500 CCSB.
1. I saw today after washing it that there was water dripping down out of the onstar microphone, right over the driver's head. I have seen a few times in hard rains there was water on the seat or the door. It does have a sunroof, and onstar and XM antennas. My local stealer won't look at it because they don't have a body shop and the nearest one is about 40 minutes away. What should I check out first and how?
2. Today was the first time I noticed this as well. Normally all 4 doors unlock when I go to park. When I got home, the back doors would not unlock when I went to park, or using the fob or using the door lock switch, but they would LOCK by every means I tried. It's just the back doors, and it worked earlier today.I checked the child safety locks and they were off. I really can't see a connection between the two, but is there anything anyone can think of?

Thanks

well the water leak is more than likely goin to be the sunroof is outta adjustment which would explain why the dealer didnt wanna touch it haha they are a PITA to get right...
as for the locks ....if its under warranty have em look at it ..its more than likely goin to be the lock/unlock relay unless some other fix has come along since I was in the dealersh!t

I dont know about the door locks, but do you happen to have cab lights? My Z71 used to leak a little around the center one.

I don't have cab lights. I'm thinking it's the sunroof. One of my friends had trouble with it. Ended up with 3" of water in a brand new D-Max.
I'm going to the stealer Friday to get the steering shaft replaced, so I'll have them look at the locks.

Thanks guys

Tell them to check the sunroof too...not having a body shop is a pretty weak excuse for not looking at it....GM might wanna know about that if ya know what I mean.

First they didn't even want to do the steering shaft cuz it's a GMC and they're a Chevy dealership

I went through that bought a used GMC at my local dealer and then they said they couldn't replace the tailgate straps because it was a GMC and they didn't work on those.

Hope you get your problem solved and GM stands behind it with it being so new.

that could prove a technicality then...if theres not a GMC dealer within 50 miles or so they shouldnt have a problem writing it off though..if theres one within 50 miles its gonna be harder to get anything done to it per GM's policy and procedures

I didn't buy the truck new. I bought it last year when it was a year old. I don't know where the truck was sold from. I don't have any time to look at it this week, It will be at the dealer on Friday anyway. I'll probably look at the sunroof drains this weekend before I drive 40 minutes to a dealer who is competent enough to work on it.

Thanks for the ideas/help/input
