So is your belt broken? If its not, then it could be that your IAC vavle isn't open enough. When the clutch on the comp. kicks on, it puts an extra load on the engine, this causes the rpms to drop, and the clutch to disengage. This will go on and on and on, like a viscious cycle. If the compressor clutch isn't engaged you won't get cold air!

Don't know since every time it breaks I'm just cruising down the highway. No wear on the belt, it just snaps... Good thing I bought the Gates, 1 YR warranty...Zed
