Default Buy Now or Wait for 6 speed?

I just got through dealing at a dealer and they will give me a 08' Vmax ECSB 4x4 for 25k out the door. I am really tempted to take it, but I dont know if I should just wait for the 6 speed to come out. If I was to wait for a the 6 speed , then for sure they would not have the incentives they have now. I mean the MSRP is $35,xxx. Should I jump on this deal of wait? Thanks

It's all in what you want, you'll definately get the current truck cheaper but will you be as happy with it? Personally I'd go with the cheaper option, but that's how I ended up with a W/T truck that was sitting on the lot for 8 months, which I love.

I say wait. I despise automatics and I drove a 07 C6 A6 and I loved it. All I was thinking the whole time is how great it would be in a heavy truck! The trans complements the L92 heads because it keeps the rpms in the sweet spot of the heads. The l92's on a 6.0 don't really come in good until 4000 rpm and the tighter gear spacing keeps it up there when it shifts.
Before you make your decision, go to a GMC dealer and drive one.
