burnt valves??

Default burnt valves??

found a 6.0 out of an 01 silvy. owner says its got burnt valves? how bad is that and how much money would I look in to replacing them?

no input?

what if I took my 862 head off my 4.8 and put it on the 6.0, how much compression would I make? considering that nothing else is wrong with it?

You don't really see too many burnt valves these days with fuel injection and all. If it does have a burn valve, you can replace the valve and have a machine shop fix/re-machine the seat and it's good as new.

o cool, so its really not that big of a deal even if I keep those heads on huh? good to know.

Now what if I took and put my 862 4.8 heads on?

It would raise the comp a fair bit but I believe they have smaller valve too.

would it not be worth it unless I have them cut for bigger valves?
