Default Bumper Swap

I recently acquired a 03 and up GMC bumper. I have a 00 model and I was wondering if they make brackets for the swap or am I going to have to do some cutting and welding? I took my factory one off tonight to see if it was a direct swap but it was not. Thanks for the advice ahead of time.

just go to junkyard & pull some brackets off a 03 +...might take some modding to get them on the 00 but at least it will mount right....just make sure you take measurements of where the brackets were on the 03+
