Brake Problem...any ideas?

Okay, thats good to know. I have narrowed it down to this. It only throws the code when I allow it to idle, if I drive it promptly after resetting the code, it won't pop, which is confusing me, I figured the misfire would be worse under load, which is making me think that I have a coil that is starting to fail. Justin from blackbear is coming down next weekend to do some live tuning, so I think I can verify that there is no real misfire when he hooks up to it. Either that, or I imagine that the software can be used to narrow down the failure.

An injector going bad can throw a Misfire code really easily also. Under load, you'll never see it unless it's totally failed but as you idle, it can set the DTC.

+1, and injectors have been known to go bad
