Default Brake Pedal Feel

Will you brake pedal touch the floor (or very close) under hard braking?

I was towing a guys mustang home from the track years ago. Light turned yellow and i started putting on brakes. Light turned red and i was standing on the pedal as hard as i could pullin against the steering wheel. Ended up running the red light, thankfully it was after midnight and no traffic.
That next week i figured out how to do the hydroboost.
Stainless steel lines, EBC rotors and green pads and hydroboost. It stops like a dream now!!
Pedal only moves an inch and you start feeling some feedback. Ive never put them to the floor since then. Not mushy even when they are crazy hot.

Hydroboost is my vote

I've gotten mine damn near through the floor board, especially when I have the JGP 20's on!

I had mine like this for a while. Then I had my normal mechanic do a flush of the system. The brake pedal felt much firmer and wouldn't go to the floor, no matter how hard a push. I then replaced the rear calipers this weekend and we bled the rear system 4 times, but if push hard it will go to the floor. I also tested the brakes on the Z and they are the same way (go to the floor)

I have the same mushy pedal.

I did a rolling burnout after work today heading towards some railroad tracks, just showing off bieng a lil cocky haha , but i pushed the brakes hard to slow for the tracks and i dont think they did anything! Like bieng on ice.

Time for hydroboost !, and the 05 front and Tahoe rear calipers ive had sitting in my garage for months now .

And BTW Stone, your truck is sweet, love the color and cleanliness.
