Hey guys... after towing a Camaro to the track and a Cobra home. . ive realized my brakes suck seriouly bad...
And talking to a few people about their setups.. ive found out some stuff.
there are a thousand possibilites with different rotor/pad combos..
Im lookin at:
EBC Sport Slotted and Dimpled Brake Rotor Kit with EBC Redstuff Ceramic 7000 Series SUV Supreme Brake Pads
Total of $271.18
Or the:
EBC Ultimax Black Dash Series Sport Slotted Brake Rotors with EBC Redstuff Ceramic 7000 Series SUV Supreme Brake Pads
$248.25

Has anyone ever used EBC on their trucks?? Ive put their Pads on 4wheelers and motorcycles.. and on those simple applications they work great and last longer than factory pads...
For example on my Honda Foreman.. i got 600 miles out of the stock pads... put EBC pads on there and i now have 2700 miles and thats 4 times the life of the stockers and it stays in the mud and on the creek....
but anyway... a opinion would be nice...

i've put slotted and cross-drilled rotors on my truck. i went back to stock rotors. i was not impressed with slotted and cross-drilled rotors. it might be good for other applications, but it did not suit my daily driver.

i have 175k miles and 8 years on mine... they look like new they just suck..
but here lately my brakes have gotten worse. they wont even lock up so ABS can engage.. and i have to put them all the way down to stop quick..
ive bled the lines twice... so im goin to try SS lines with rotors and pads..
