Default Brake Light help 06 GMC Denali

I was following my wife the other day and noticed that none of the brake lights work when she stopped. I checked the 2-10 amp fuses in the drivers side dash and they look fine. I have turn signal and night lights but no brake lights either side or top bar. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I tow a small trailer for yard work at times, do you think the adapter shorted something?

Thanks,
Scott

Could be a bad or mis-adjusted brake light switch...
