I bought a ricer for my wife also. Went down to the GMC/Pontiac/Mazda dealer where I buy my cars to look at the Grand Prix. Well we test drove just about Pontiac car there including the Pontiac Vibe
She decided she wanted one of those. Luckily I was able to convince her to buy a Mazda 6s instead. Mostly by saying that I would never be seen driving around in a Vibe.

Been pretty happy with the 6 so far. Good power and corners beautifully. I actually enjoyed driving it more than the Grand Prix.

Congrats on the new car. My wife is just like yours she said no modding of her car.

We looked hard at the Mazda6.Actually started paperwork on one that was FULLY loaded with every option availiable. But the boys at the dealership couldn't deliver what they promised and I held my ground.

 

Yeah they are a decent car. I ended up getting my 03 at invoice, plus there was a $2500 rebate on it. Always good when you can get it for less than the dealer paid for it
