Also toyota was the number 3 selling automaker in the US last year and continues to rise. So the 3 major automakers of US vehicles are trying to get something else going to keep that from happening. I mean hell toyota is now even in nascar..

I doubt this would ever happen, but it is all over the news about the possibility. Time will tell.

I think Toyota is number two in the world, and number 3 in the U.S.

But to the GM/Chrysler question, in Yahoo financials they reported that Chrysler was interested in purchasing either the Tahoe platform or rebadging it as a Chrysler because of their lagging large SUV sales and their gas mileage concerns in those same vehicles with upcoming new standards.

I have read the rumors of Mercedes wanting to sell Chrysler but I think with GM's own financial concerns that may be a stretch to buy it outright, even though a merger would not be out of the question.

All my 2 cents.

GM isnt buying anyone and I hate to be a dick but if anyone thinks otherwise you're retarded.

Does anyone remember when GM was going bankrupt? Or when they were gonna merge with Ford? Or when they were going to form an alliance with Nissan-Renault? Its just bullshit to make stocks twich. Same ****, different day, nothings happening.
