what is the largest 20" tire you can fit on a silverado with a 4/6 drop in the front and rear ... i would like a wider tire in the back ... this is with no rubbing

I don't know if they're the best, and they could be the worst, but I'm very satisfied with my Falken Ziex 275/45/20's.

It's going to depend on what 20" rim width you opt for. Keep in mind that the lower the profile you go with the wider the rim needs to be. Especially in the 295 and 305 series tires with a profile at 45 and lower.
You can go pretty wide in the rear as long as you have the proper back spacing and rim width. And PLEASE don't stick a rim on your truck that sticks out past your fenders! I just don't understand why some people think that looks good!

its hard to say how wide you can go without knowing at least how wide your rim is and the back spacing

I have 275/40/40 Hankooks and they seem to be some pretty nice tires, I have no complaints.
