This thread will be no different, everything is kind of ones opinion on what they run or have run.

We have no idea what size you want to run either, that's huge in tire selection and whats out there for that size.

Ive run the et drag radial and the etdrag radial pro. Both cut 1.46/1.47 60' times but the radial was forgiving in the rain where the pro is not.

Of all the "performance" tires ive tried behind 400+ rwhp builds, the mickey thompsons won hands down.

If youre hovering in the 300-350 rwhp range, you can get away with a proxi or michelin. Past that you need a real tire. Most everyone is well past that now days.

My biggest thing is spending 400+ pm tires then ruining them in a weekend of hard driving

If you want something half way between a street tire and a DR, then a Nitto NT 555r is probably what your looking for. Softer then a BFG but harder then a MT et drag radial.

For what they are, the et street radials have excellent street life.

i got much better mileage out of the 555r, but a ton more traction with the et street radial. i chalk it up to "pay to play" and choose the tire less likely to put me out of control.

555r was a great tire....but wouldn't hold a candle to the et street radial in the 60' area. take into consideration what you honestly use the truck for and choose the tire.

you cant have your cake and eat it too. better traction requires softer rubber which wears faster. there isnt much you can do about that other than use a lighter car or my plan... awd

the street radials will give 5-10k which is great for what they provide. They make my truck safe on the street at 900+
