Currently have: 02 reg cab stepside, LQ9, T-56, tune, K & N air intake, Eaton posi, 4.88 gears. Probably on the upper end of 14s now!
When I read thread title, I sure didn't expect it to start out like that. I figured v6 or 4.8. But, u already have LQ9! To tease us( me) even more, a T56. Do u have any traction, or just smoky burnouts?

Anything at all done on the exhaust side?

BUDGET?

I'm thinkin you're quicker than high 14's ( as u stated). Gotta be a bullet, esp. w/ good tire & traction aid.

Traction is a problem... 4.88 don't help but know that now... And I haven't ran it at the track, just played around on country roads (pop. about 400) and got high 14s. I'm sure track will be faster, just didn't know how much.

Nothing to exhaust, just dual out.

As far a budget, supercharger wouldn't be out of the question. Maybe not in the NEAR future, but wouldn't want to waste money now if i could have a better setup later with the sc.

Two more probably stupid questions: Fully bolt includes? Just have street tires now, but what would ya'll think the best takeoff technique at the track, would be for this setup.

detailed as possible would be great!!!

first thing you ned to do is get long tube headers, I prefer pacesetter or stainless works or dynatechs. pacesetter are the best bang for the money. Get a custom tuned PCM which you might already have. Get a decent sized cam since your going to be running 4.10 and a six speed. I would get one in the 224/230 range on 112 lsa in reg. truck. Lift around .580. Or call Allen and he can recommend one to you. another bolt on is cold air intake, put some good free flowing mufflers, if you want true duals put x pipe, I think you put those 4.10 with a good sized cam and long tubes and custom tune you will be in the mid 13's if you can get some tires to hook up on the track.

if you can get a REAL GOOD clutch that can hold the power and some tires to put it to the ground, with the 4.10s, i see you breaking 13s as it sets with a good tune.

i really think that with full boltons you can hit low 13s or maybe a 12.99, def. hit that with a nice cam 224/224 or bigger

for a list of boltons go to the mega sticky in the GM engine and exhaust section, then go to the boltons link posted by me

yea you might should make sure you have a good shifter in it and a good diff. like a 9.5" 14bolt, then take it to the track and launch high on slicks

nonnie, i like the sig! i think Homeland Defense Tools might sound better though
