Default Battery relocation

I'm thinking of relocating the battery under the bed. Has anyone ever done this without the cut off switch. I don't get to go to the track as much as I used to so I really don't need the disconnect. Just want to help with traction and clean up under the hood.

It has been done. I can do a search, but as far as a cut off switch goes, I'd use one. Consider it and Anti-Theft.

Thanks. Yea, I found that too along with a few others. I was just wondering if anyone here had it done without a switch. I guess just relocate it to the back and extend the existing cables to the new batt location. Should work like factory.

Yea. The only difference in that one and your way is the switch. but a switch would be added security. If someone can't hot wire your truck and pops the hood to see there is no battery, they aren't going to spend time trying to find it.

Just do the same way he has there minus the switch.
