Default Battery Problems?

I am having problems with my Optima Red Top battery, Is anybody else having problems with these batteries? I have already replaced it once before and before I replace it again I was wondering if anybody else has any suggestions as far as what I should do or what I should buy? The battery I had before this Optima was from Sam's Club and I didn't have one problem with it. Somebody please help because this is very frustrating. Thanks in advance.

I've had my red top for several years with no problem. My alternator died and I had to drive about 15 or 20 minutes to get home on battery only, no problem.

Ive had fantastic luck with the OEM Delco batteries. They are rated for 6 years and I got exactly 6 out of my first one. I wouldn't use anything else.

I agree...stick with what works...i have a decent size stereo, and never ever had the lights dim and I can play it for quiet a while with the truck off and not even skip a beat when starting...knock on wood but Ive never had a problem with my battery and Ive had it since I bought the truck in 05...

Seems that I've read alot of Optima battery problems lately...I've had great luck with both Delco and Interstate batteries. I kept my factory Delco for a little over 5 years then replaced it as a sort of preventive measure, and I've been runnin an Interstate ever since, about another 5 years so far.
