Default Battery Life in Storage?

How long or many days should I be able to leave my truck parked before I would expect the battery to be too weak to turn the motor over?

2005 Silverado loaded.

That's a question that nobody can answer with any certainty...

If battery's old, or something is drawing power, or whatever...

If any doubts, and the truck will be parked for a while, get a $50 Battery Tender. I use one on my motorcycle and it's helped the battery last much longer than without. We've been in the high teens overnights and bike fires right up...

a little less than that i believe, if yours is a constant charger i would get a battery tender or trickle charger. They can maintain the correct charge on it without charging it constantly..

The Battery Tender Plus isn't a trickle charger. They call it a smart charger. It charges 1.5 amps, I think it is, and automatically shuts off when battery is fully charged. It only comes back on as needed to maintain full charge. The trickle chargers charge low amps, BUT usually do not turn off...so they would have to be constantly checked to prevent overcharging and basically frying the battery, which kinda defeats the purpose. Most everyone who uses a Battery Tender on their motorcycle comments that their batteries last a lot longer overall, and like myself, use it year round. They come with small clamps, and also a small quick-connect setup. I use the quick-connect and simply plug it in whenever bike is parked.

100% agree. Battery Tender, or a clone of one is best. Got to have something that shuts itself off when it isn't needed.
