Default Back to stock converter

I picked up my truck from the shop with new 4.10 gears and stock converter instead of the 2600 and I tink its a bit faster. the converter was replaced bacause it was sliping and it wasn't a good brand (no brand at all) . What do you guys think , I should get a good converter (if yes what size) or keep the stock one ? Keep in mind that this is a street truck and don't go to the track regularly in fact it only been there once when I only had a volant CAI and hypertech programmer.

with the procharger? I'd go with a Yank SC3000, pricey but well worth it.

i would still do a small converter. it probably feels faster bc of the gear swap and you had a poor quality converter. try a similar stall speed as the one you had from a sponsor. i dont think you will regret it. i dd a 3200 and 4.10s fwiw
