I just got back home from a 311 concert in Mt. Pleasant MI at Central Michigan University's Rose Arena. Alien Ant Farm opened up for them. Man what an awesome show! I've been a 311 fan for a long time but this was my first concert of thiers that I've been too. They sounded awesome and so did A.A.F. A buddy and I met up with my brother and a bunch of his friends, had a few drinks (quite a few actually) and headed over to the show. We had floor tickets and we managed to get right up to the stage and stayed there the entire show. What a blast!

I've always liked 311's tunes...good chillin music. Alien Ant Farm: hahaha. I loved that old Michael Jackson remake of "Smooth Criminal".

Concerts are always good fun. I am eagerly awaiting Sevendust to come back to town, I saw just a bit of them at Freakers Ball in October...and man did they kick ***.

I went to summer sanitarium before I went to basic. I was never really into limp bizkit untill then. They kicked *** live! Mudvain, deftones, linkin park, bizkit, and ofcorse METALICA were all there

 

Yes, I too went to the ol' Sanatarium in August...it was hot as hell in Texas Stadium. I didn't like the Deftones too much, they just dragged on. But everyone else was great despite the $90 price tag of my ticket.

 

My floor ticket for the 311 show was $20! Not bad for being right up at the front of the stage if you ask me.
