Are you sure it's a Silverado SS?

 

Reasonably sure its an SS. It has the LQ9 code, as far as I know, they only came in the SSS and the Escalade, right?

The trailer brake definately looks aftermarket. But the hitch and hookup are there. I'll post up the RPOs later, its raining.

But I definately checked for the LQ9 and G80, mainly because those are the only ones that I know. I wouldn't have bought it if I saw LQ4.

That, and the fact that its AWD. I imagine thats an expensive conversion to do.

Torque Wrench ran the VIN for the service/recall history and he didn't say anything about it not being an SSS.

 

Ok, then those mirrors and stuff would all be add-ons. I have seen several SSSs used as tow rigs so you porbably bought one from someone who'd done the same.

 

is that something that I should be conderned about? The engine doesn't make a single noise. Its smooth as hell, and pulls like a raped ape. The truck feels good.
