Default AWD to 2wd conversion 04 escalade

What would I need?

Some say a transfer case from a 4x4

Some said a rwd Trans and DS

And one said removing the transfer case and using a rwd tail shaft would work.

Rwd trans, or completely disassemble trans to change out put.

Rwd drive shaft.

2wd front hub bearings.

Maybe trans xmember?

Was told that the front hub bearings can fall apart without the shafts in, I swore that they looked like the 2wd pieces. But at thisnpoint I'm not gonna find out the hard way, if I go 2wd.

Why don't you just swap to a 4wd case and only run in 2wd? Or you trying to save weight?

That's what I wanted to do, but wasn't sure that the Trans would be the same and all, any idea?

After investigation, the rear end is bent down like it was dropped off a lift or driven off a edge. I noticed the whole bottom is scarred.

The axle is leaking where it is pressed into the diff housing, the rear tires are wearing as if it was the front with a bad alignment. So, the rear right axle is able to move outward and rub the rotor on the caliper bracket. That's my noise.

Rear axle swap would be right but I know how to do that, so wouldn't be a point lol.
