Hey, I contacted you on AIM, sorry I didn't respond, was watching the Cards game, hehe.

Anyways, I am looking to buy a GMC truck within the next month and I am VERY stressed for money. I need the lowest price possible. Right now I am looking at a RCSB base model, 4.8, 4l60e, and G80. Here's one I have found: http://gmbuypower.com/nvlWindowStick...rd%20Box%202WD

But, WTF 25,000 for a regulab ??? That is just insane and WAY out of my league. At this point, I know I have the $4000 GM loyalty (pops has a sierra), and $2000 from the GM card, so that's $6000 off. But I need to get this truck as cheap as possible. In one of your posts you were saying only use internet salesman, and you said amazingly you got a MSPR yukon $41,000 for $30,000!!! That is a HUGE $11k discount. If I could someone in God's name get $11k off here that would be great. Thanks for your time, Michael.

what is the deal with the GM card? is that where you use the GM credit card and get points toward a vehicle purchase?

yes. I believe you earn %5 on each purchase you make. So you can see how this adds up over time

ok sorry i was headin to bed. as for getting the right deal, right now it the time. first it starts with the rebates. right now GM loyalty is 4K for most trucks. second, good deal on the GM card. that is good as cash as well. so you are up to 6K dollars right off the bat which you will be able to get at ANY dealership that is GM.

the next part is buying from either 1) an internet salesman. you can find this through either looking up the dealership on line and it will have a link to the internet salesman or you can most of the time call up and ask for the internet salesman's name and maybe talk to them. they are the key as they sell at invoice or damn near. i personally wouldnt buy ANY GM truck or suv for over 500 bucks over invoice (go check out invoice prices at KBB or edmunds.com).
2) you can go to the GM site (GMC or CHevy) and there will be a link of GM Buy power i believe it is called. it is just a way to check inventory and it will link you to an internet salesman in your area. usually 4-5 dealerships. you will be able to send a mass email through that site and they will get back with you in a day or so. that is the best way IMO. tell them you know what you want and will pay XXX over invoice. 200-400 over invoice is fair PLUS you keep all rebates and GM card earnings.

right now is a great time to buy. 05s will be out soon and lots of inventory is out there. if you get attitude from any one salesman, fuckem and move ot the next one. there ARE salesman out there that will sell you what you want. they can even take it off another's lot.

also there is about 10% or so markup (difference b/w MSRP and Invoice).
